Written in that variant of Old Entish known as Hackish, dialect Incident Report, because I am Tired:

Several users reported that files uploaded to web sites via FTP were not displaying in browsers, instead returning a 403 Forbidden error.

Overly restrictive permissions (umask 027) were being enforced on all files uploaded via FTP, and this has since been fixed. All new files uploaded to the new server will have their permissions properly set (umask 022) for viewing with web browsers.

If you need any previously uploaded files fixed, you can either fix it yourself by deleting and re-uploading the file, or contact me via e-mail or an LJ reply and I'll fix it for you. Please include the name of the affected site(s) and/or file(s).

PS: No domains or users moved today, as admin required application of significant patch and minor kernel upgrade at Elkhorn Slough/Moss Landing remote site. Restored and new modules of the hostmistress's kernel were loaded and are running successfully.

Dunno if this matters or not as I do not speak geek :) But I noticed yesterday that my Sooper Admin Powers on Project Yggdrasil were gone. I could still access Steward info, but only for my area.

Odd. That hasn't been touched yet. We'll investigate. Can't have our Walkyrja's runnin' around without their S00per L33t Admin P0werz, now can we? :)

I would certainly lose Evil Genius Points if I did not have access to random data no one else knows I have access to :)

Oh! I must have taken them away in an overzealous moment when I was taking l33t p0w3r5 away from expired stewards and the like.

I gave yours back, though -- it's good to have backups for stuff like this.
