bellacrow++ for missing me and asking, which caused a flurry of concern, for which I'm quietly grateful.

Sorry, folks -- the reasons you all haven't heard from me in awhile are severalfold, but the biggest revolves around this:

I got a job!

...only it's far away with hours (2pm-1am) and days (Thursday - Sunday) that put a real damper on anything like a social life. There are several complaints I could make, but mostly this is something to do while I scramble to arrange something more appropriate. However, in the lab where I work, there's only one Internet-connected computer, which I not only have to share with whomever else is on-shift, I don't get to touch very often because I keep having to swap tapes around.

adric00++ for the referral! It is money, we can use it, and it inspires me to pull off Something Better posthaste. I let DLP down last night because I was at work and therefore unable to be her right-hand priestess this evening (bearmum++ for the last-minute tag-in), and that's Not Okay in My World.

In other news, the usual holiday trolls are also Wreaking Havoc, leading to less time for you, My Constant Readers.

And, in other-other news, my middle brother's wife (you remember her? The one who said I'm deceived by Satan and going to Hell?) and I swapped some holiday greetings, ha ha bleargh. Should post, might post, should sleep, will eventually...
