lwood back here, and the fact that I can post this should tell you that we're back on the air, and in far less than 4 hours yay.
According to Speakeasy, our ISP, they were doing "routine maintenance" on their San Francisco OC-3 (very big, very fat 'net pipe) which was supposed to take "no more than fifteen minutes." Unfortunately, they "experienced a contingency" and ten thousand users were affected.
I like that. I think next time I royally screw some pooch, I will declare that I have Experienced a Contingency.
