As discussed earlier, we upgraded Milo to larger crickets today, whereupon he seized and ate...a cricket's drumstick, savoring its juicy, juicy thigh meat.

By the time I got back from dinner, he'd finished his appetizer and is currently noshing on the rest of the cricket as an entree.

The rest of the future dinners have finished gorging themselves on cricket food and have crawled up into the tubes of their Cricket Keeper--er, this thingy:

The question of "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" is answered thus: with the arrangement in the picture, crickets eat and drink, then crawl up into the textured plastic tubes to...whatever crickets do. When it's feeding time, I shake a tube clear, and when a tube has exactly one cricket in it...that's the lucky winner!

I missed your first entry on Milo until just now. How neat!
The Brazilian tarantula...she is gorgeous!

When I was younger I used to manage the reptile section of a pet store. Tarantula's galore. Before managing the section, and just "helping" I was really unsure how to handle them. But over time, I got seriously into them.

The pinkies aren't so bad after a little while. The first few are the hardest. Ironically enough, I found it harder to use frozen pinkies than live ones, lol. At least you won't have to worry about rats or larger mice.
Milo sounds beautiful. I can't wait to see pictures!
