The Weekend in Review
Mar. 5th, 2007 02:16 pmShort form: There was a weekend, and stuff happened. I spend a day with a lady, half-fixed an unexpected computer, worked on lorien's new hardware. Then, yesterday, we plotted about plots and parties until, suddenly, a recording session broke out. I blame the strawberry margaritas in the Coyote Cups. Lastly, the primary proponents of the Teal Party purchase Official Party Hats, and for that, I blame the mead.
( Server Stuff )( Saturday, Now with More Chaos )
( Sunday: After Two Margaritas, a Recording Session Broke Out )Lastly, a flit back up 13 and a trip to the Longs of Unusual Size resulted in several feline deterrents, a new beret-ish cap for me, and two of the New Official Hat of the Teal Party: teal cowboy hats.
I blame the mead.
But speaking of Teal Party business, to that cause I also obtained one of the best air-cleaning plants around: Epipremnum aureum, known socially as pothos, often misidentified as philodendron, and in any case tolerant of office life, office light, and irregular neglect.
It will go to the Mad Scientists' Home, and keep company with my other air-cleaning winner Chlorophytum comosum (spider plant/airplane plant), a gift from
gnowun. Eventually, I'll propagate them to anyone I can reach, see if I won't.
Rather like the Teal Party.
Go well!
