...well, okay. It's not hot because I'm visiting the computers today, and where they live it's 65°F (18° C for you in civilized lands) with some very low humidity, as this is a place set up for silicon people, not carbon people.

BUT!

When I go forth once more to obtain of food, then, yes, holy crap, it will be hot.

Yes indeed 18C is a civilised temperature. In this part of the world it is 11C with a bit of wind chill taking the apparent temp down to about 8C. Good thing I have a comfy alpaca wool blend jumper to take the edge of the middle of winter.

Happy Midsummer! *grin*

What's it like outside there? It's ok here now, mostly mid-to-high 70s, but last week it was awwwwwwwwwwwwwfully hot. Hot. HOT.
A girlfriend of mine knit herself a bathing suit. Starting to sound pretty good right about now, LOL...

It's lovely now, some days later once the heat wave has wandered off. ;)

The problem with knitted bathing suits, as those Flappers soon found, is that, um. They fall off when wet.

Unless that was what you wanted. ;)

Indeed! ...Which is why I can spend my time *pondering* the idea, LOL! However, methinks I'll stick with shawls... ;)

I am evidently a silicon person. I realised a long time ago that I am designed for 1960s computer rooms -- 69degF (+/- 1degF), 30-40%RH non-condensing, constant illumination at a reasonable level (not that nasty bright hot thing out in the Big Room!), air pressure constant at 1000mB, and a constant noise level around 35dBA...

I'm getting used to being around silicon people again--the hardest thing to re-acclamate to is the noise, so I had custom earplugs made. 8-)
