Apropos of absolutely nothing, I suppose if I'm going to have a dream just before waking about being sent to the UK by a Disgruntled Employer who sends people to kill me, whereupon I flee north and find myself out camping with a non-working cell phone with whom I am trying, and failing, to contact countgeiger...

I am so disappointed that we couldn't come. We made it to Vallejo (20 minutes from your house) before realizing that my boo was actually sick and needed to go home. I even got two new shawl projects to bring to work on, and I had a pattern for a third that I wanted to consult with you on. We'll be there next time, and I hope you all had fun. The only consolation is that the walnut levain, morbiere cheese, and peppermint brownies are mine, all mine!

erynn999 will be arriving tonight, but she and dpaxson will be at separate events this weekend, neither of which I can attend, and thus I will be all forlorn. What're you guys up to?

Oh noes, not all forlorn! Friday, I'm driving Laura to the airport to fly back up to Seattle and then zooming home for my quiz in my online class. I don't have any firm plans this weekend, and I'm under orders to go out and see my friends rather than mope around this house eating too much sugar and watching depressing foreign films. I'm got a stack of gotta's, but if I get them done on Saturday, we could do something on Sunday? Especially if that something including lunch at Herbivore. I'll even treat, to make up for missing your very firstest string fling!
