Okay, mail is now being properly queued up on the backup server again; anything that actually does try to come in will now do the right thing and go to the other guy, waiting for you all to come back.
Lorien got moved to its real IP address--I had been keeping it behind the home firewall/router doohickey until I judged it ready for the real network.
BIND (Domain Name Service) has been started thanks to
countgeiger.
Postfix configuration--i.e., incoming e-mail--appears to work properly.
Networking, however, isn't: the new server on its new IP address isn't talking to anything not on its local network. This is something
countgeiger and I need to discuss later this morning...
