Well, if hauk were around, obviously I would have to make a bacon-mushroom pie. I'm partial to sweet potato myself (and never turned down bacon-mushroom), but I figure what'll actually happen is that someone will bring a fruity pie to Hrafnar tonight, fulfilling my obligation.

Now, ordinarily I'd say that fall is the best time for bacon-mushroom pie, but I know that in Haukland, there is never a bad time for bacon anything.

Anyhow, you turn up in the Northlands, given sufficient warning, I will make you a pie. Right now, for example, it would probably be a bacon-lamb-Guinness pie...
