Shameless Promotion!
Feb. 7th, 2006 02:03 amToday is Publication Day for The Golden Hills of Westria, the latest novel by Diana L. Paxson, known in this blog as The Notorious DLP.
Buy twenty copies! Hand them out on street corners!
Want to try before you buy? We have you covered with these sample chapters!
As always, my genteel suggestion is to buy from your local independent bookstore, and this time we have a special shout out to The Other Change of Hobbit, in downtown Berkeley, on Shattuck between University and Addison. And, hey, they do mail order, so you can feel all righteous through the power of your telephone.
Don't know Westria from the Westmere Land from a warm rock? Never fear! http://www.westria.org/ is Here to Help!
Go! Read!

Date: 2006-02-07 06:20 pm (UTC)This is the second time that I know of that we've had books on the shelves early. I don't know what's up with that. *chuckle* I don't think the time difference would be the cause.

Date: 2006-02-26 05:55 am (UTC)I see peoples names and wonder if I know them or have met them .. and that is just what I did with your LJ. However, I got sucked into reading your 2001 train adventures. I, too, love the train and seems the Coast Starlight hasn't improved in all these years. LOL I took it last year down to LA for the weekend and arrived at 3:30am!
I am hooked on your travels but will have to finish it up tomorrow. You've just arrived in Canada at this point *grin*
Thank you for the enjoyment, and I still wonder who you are! Did you offer a workshop at PCon last weekend?
Good night Lorrie,

I did offer a workshop at this latest Pantheacon, it was on Pagan Fiber Arts. I knit and bead, although last weekend I started nosing into tablet (card) weaving. I also participated in several rituals, notably both oracular seidh presentations, the lot casting on Friday night, and others.
