Entered into rest Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004 in Sarasota, FL. Friends will be received FRIDAY 2-4 AND 7-9 P.M. Service 10 a.m. Saturday at JOSEPH MISENCIK FUNERAL HOME, 12500 MADISON AVE., LAKE-WOOD. You know, I've been to that cemetery. To that plot, even. Found a great big caterpillar there once, which I took home and it did what you'd expect: spun a coccoon and turned into a great big honkin' moth with neat little clear spots on its wings. Draw your own painfully obvious metaphor, here, naturally...
pearlshadow's dance-out is on Saturday, and I've just been asked to be her minder. That should be interesting... I should be getting up and moving about on Saturday just after the funeral, three time zones and two thousand miles away. This lets me reflect on initiations as death and rebirth, which lets one draw a few more obvious conclusions.
