"Smaller, lighter projects" in my world means small projects and/or lightweight yarn. This summer's project has been a 2-meter diameter nonagonal shawl, for example, although occasionally I work on a hacked-together pattern I call hrafnsocken.
That's what I mean. Whyever should you put down the sticks just because it's hot?
