Last night, I took the nine baby chilis that are left in their slightly larger peat pots and set them in a roaster to serve as a slightly more functional box until they're distributed to
purplevenus and
wolfs_daugher.
I also planted these guys:

...in the corners of my seedling box so I can remember which is which. That means I'm planting an extra Corsican (bowl-shaped) gourd...that was the shape I liked best, we'll see if I can do something with it.
Then, in the other 16 new peatpots, I planted these:

There were only sixteen seeds in the packet, so none of those pots have more than one seed; we'll see how many actually sprout--I know that one's bound for
hyndla, and at least one for the back deck of
dpaxson, and what the heck, I'll try one myself.
More will likely sprout; we'll see if I can encourage other takers. Zucchini are great, cheerful producers, and this particular variety (Raven) is good for containers, specifically a 12" pot.
Then I made some LJ icons:

...and have to decide which to adopt as a picture for talking about crazy gardeness. 8-)
