Mail Outage
Jan. 9th, 2006 11:50 amFrom 0230 to 0745 PST this morning, 9 January 2006, lorien was unable to receive mail. This involves all domains that I host. Depending on the configurations of servers trying to send us e-mail, the failed messages may or may not be resent. It's unlikely that much, if any, e-mail was actually lost, as this happened in the wee hours of the morning, but in case you find any sudden gaps in your conversations, this is why.

Date: 2006-01-09 08:20 pm (UTC)Indeed, since most of my head is currently occupied with PHP development rather than DNS, I temporarily forgot that L&oracute;rien is not Finrod (who actually receives mail for all of my domains).
I'm sorry to hear about your server problem. But I'm really glad to find that it's not a problem with my server. And I hope there was no mail lost.

So I telnetted in. That worked but mutt doesn't seem to be available.
Just what I was looking for...
Date: 2006-01-11 06:26 am (UTC)Just for general information's sake- the PantheaCon Program Schdeule is now locked and loaded. Same link as we sent you for the preliminary schedule- only now, it's OK to share it. The e-mail I was trying to send was sent out to all presenters letting them know.
Now you know!
